The Mill Barns wedding videography | Aveley

~Illusions~ Stacey and Mark were married at the brand new, purpose built wedding venue The Mill Barns in Alveley. This stunning setting used to be a 17th Century water mill and is located in the West Midlands, on the border of Shropshire and Worcestershire. I absolutely love a unique venue. The best thing about the Mill Barns is that as soon as you cast eyes on it, it has the illusion that it is floating on water. The beautiful oak framed grand entrance reflecting on the water truly is mesmerising. All this is nestled in the well established English countryside.

Stacey enjoyed a glass of champagne as she prepared for her big day in the 'Dressing Room'. The Dressing Room at the Mill Barns is a stylish and chic place for the immediate wedding party to do their finishing touches for the big day. This room is spacious and perfect to relax in as you get pampered and preened before the big moment. Stacey looked absolutely radiant, and when her Dad seen her for the first time in her dress, emotions were running high. It is so important to document this real emotion, as the day flies by so fast and these moments get lost. I think it is captured beautifully in their highlights film.

The airy grandeur of the Ceremony Barn is breath taking, the organic wood of the exposed beams and the big windows practically make you feel like you are outside in the eight acres of woodland. It also has a perfect view of the Mill Pond. The ceremony was charming, we had a couple of hilarious hiccups (completely down to nerves) but it made for some entertainment for the guests. Whilst the guests mingled on the outdoor terrace, Stacey and Mark were whisked away for a portrait session. They looked amazing nestled in the woodland for their portrait shots. Shot from far away, it gave the illusion that they were all alone in the middle of a forest, it was such a beautiful effect and made for some great film.

The wedding party took advantage of the terrace, which over looks the tranquil waters of the pond. They enjoyed sitting outside with their own personal fires in the middle of the tables. With drinks flowing and laughter filling the barn, the guests took full advantage of the hazy English summer evening. With this sort after venue, Stacey and Mark's big day was perfect and unique. Surrounded by their family and friends, they danced long into the night. I'm sure this wedding left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. A perfect end to a beautiful day.
